Noted as the “Best” Peter, Paul and Mary tribute group in the country, Peter Gordon, Will Kruger and Joanie Brown, the three that make up the group, put on a performance that energizes and engages audiences across the globe. Their dedication to carrying on the authentic harmonies, musical structure and message of Peter, Paul and Mary are undeniable. Their connection with the audience as they bring them back in time, delivering the strong messages of the 60’s along with humor and stories of the past are what make this group so irresistible. A Folk Music Revival- “No one does it better than Peter, Paul and Mary “Alive.”
Peter Gordon (Peter Yarrow), a Cantor, is the music and art director of the show. Formally trained on the violin, he was a vocalist and guitarist in Greenwich Village during the time Peter, Paul and Mary started performing. Will Kruger (Paul Stookey) is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and entertainer with over 30 years in the entertainment industry. Kruger has always been attracted to the simplicity, message and melodies of folk music accompanied by the acoustic guitar. He was also influenced by John Denver and James Taylor as well as Peter, Paul and Mary. Joanie Brown (Mary Travers) is a performer at heart. She recalls singing and dancing as far back as she can remember. Joanie’s compassionate nature resonates to the music of Peter, Paul and Mary with their uncompromising message of reform, freedom, justice and love. She is thrilled to be able to share their music and is dedicated to helping “Carry it On”.
