The final goal is within reach for the Simon Theatre and Barnhill Center! You’ve probably heard about or even attended one of the recent events. There have been a number of sold out concert shows, business conferences, galas, wedding ceremony/receptions, movies and even events for children. It is so wonderful to see the original 1925 Vaudeville theatre transformed into a beautiful and functional conference/event center.
Can you believe the progress?
This was just a dream, and now it’s a reality thanks to your support! But we still have more work to do, and we need your help to finish the final touches.
You can make an investment in our community
Your support not only helps restore a piece of Brenham’s heritage and history, but you’re also investing in the community. Washington County sits in the heart of Texas. Every day you see tourists travel from Austin, Houston, and as far away as Dallas. Your support for the Simon helps attract more investment and economic activity in Washington County. The Simon Theatre and Barnhill Center are first class meeting and event spaces.
You can help us complete this project
To date, we’ve raised over $7 million from the local community! Can you believe it? From the beginning, the support for this project has been amazing. We are only $700,000 away from our final fundraising goal!
We still have a number of naming opportunities for you or a loved one to have their name on part of the restoration. Getting to this point wasn’t easy. So many people have sacrificed their time and money to get the project to where it is currently. Now you can help complete this amazing project and be part of Brenham’s history and heritage.
Through your support, you can help the community keep more dollars in Brenham, and bring more people during the week.
Help us with the final push to complete The Barnhill Center!
